*POSITIVELY NEGATIVE???

Let us be careful not to dwell on the negative as is the inclination of the flesh. It is then easy to lose track of the positive input in our lives. Our trust is in knowing that God is our refuge. Lord, we understand that you utterly despise the conniving ways of men. But, violence seems to be the norm, yell a little louder, hating what is good. They call evil good and good evil.

Not so for the child of the Most High God, El Elyon! We have a covenant of love and mercy with you Father through Jesus Christ the Righteous! We daily receive your compassion! Your kindness overtakes us! Our desire is to please you in our everyday walk with you. We are assured that You make the road plain for us. We love your ways. That is why we choose to listen and obey!

As born again children of God we honor you with our lives! We know you will judge the wicked. And, we refuse to be like the world with silver tongues of deception. They have the biggest smiles. At the same time they plot out destruction of their fellow man! But, You do not want us to live our lives in fear. As your children we have the highest hope of a better world than this! You are the one who promises a new heaven and a new earth!

“The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity. You destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit. But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You. O Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me. There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue. Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You. But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You. Lord, we are enthused in knowing you have our backs! You’ve got this! We trust you for the best outcome! How great are your tender mercies, your compassion new every morning! You never fail us! You never will.

We place our focus on these things oh God! We > Accentuate the positive! Negate the negative! Greater is He that is in us (positive); than, he that is in the world (negative). We don’t perceive things as ungodly men do. That does not make us bad people! Your children know that any goodness we have comes from you. We are righteous only because of God’s efficacious work through Christ. He is all sufficient! We believe that and receive it! We proclaim your grace and mercy to others.

As children of God we trust and fully rely on and in your words. We are wholly committed to your Word as our final authority! We love you LORD! You are a great God! Wow! How blessed we are!
