When my back’s against the wall, you always stand tall. Jesus, you are My Champion!

by BG O’Neal

Has there ever been a moment that your God has not fought for you? In all honesty, I think not! Remember he is the God-Of-Angel-Armies!!! I want to use the following verse in the the affirmative. Here goes:

I am righteous through Christ. My Champion. My Defender. God, you answer me when I call out to you for help. When I am stressed out you give me strength to stand. I feel under pressure, the squeeze is on, but your kindness and mercy is there! You always show up right on time. You give great grace whenever I need it.

I know you hear my prayers! You set me free from so many things! Treachery! Deceit! Debauchery! My own heart! My sins! And, from worldly thinking! From compromise with new age beliefs! From moral relativism!

Jesus, you are my way of escape. You are the truth I live by. My life is what you are! Without you I truly do not have one. Not one that I desire! You – My hope for eternity!!! You are my Champion! Remember these lyrics from an old song: Once like a bird in prison I dwelt. No freedom from my sorrow I felt! Oh, He Set Me Free!

Can you make the same confession as I did above? Are you feeling kinda down and out, stressed, confused. You say, I wish I had some peace right now. Then I wish you every Shalom, the whole peace of God! However, you might want to turn the proceeding verse into your own personal prayer.

“God, you are my righteousness, my Champion Defender. Answer me when I cry for help! Whenever I was in distress, you enlarged me. I’m being squeezed again—I need your kindness right away! Grant me your grace, hear my prayer, and set me free! Psalms 4:1 TPT

This is BG saying to you my reader, Have a wonderful and blessed day! Always Pray First!

You can sing along with beautiful song:
